Bio: Astronaut Dr. Rick Linnehan, B.S., D.V.M., MPA, is currently assigned as IPA to Texas A&M University as Director for Space Science, Policy and Education to foster new curricula for STEM program. A veterinarian trained in comparative pathophysiology, Dr. Linnehan has flown four Space Shuttle missions, including aboard Columbia on two Space Lab life sciences missions, to the Hubble Space Telescope, and aboard Endeavour, to deliver the first element of the Japanese KIBO assembly ­the JEM ­ and the Canadian robot "DEXTRE". His was one of the last EVA-intensive ISS construction missions.

Bio: Dr. Joan Vernikos, Ph.D., Professor, Taksha University SIM and former director of NASA’s Life Sciences, is an author, health coach, consultant, and sought-after motivational speaker on the tangible health and economic benefits to individuals and organizations of resetting your health for life, living healthy and healthy aging. Dr. Vernikos pioneered research in stress management and space physiology at NASA. Her published books include: The GConnection: Harness Gravity and Reverse Aging (2004); Stress Fitness for Seniors (2009); and Sitting Kills, Moving Heals: How Simple Everyday Movement Will Prevent Pain, Illness, and Early Death—and Exercise Alone Won’t (2011).
